IPMS Edmonton meets the second Tuesday of every month from September to June. Meetings are held in the cafeteria of McNally High School, 8440 105 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta from 7:00 pm to 9:00pm.
There is no admission fee and meetings are open to the public.

Memberships for IPMS Edmonton are available for $20.00 CDN per year. Membership fees are non refundable. We currently have about 70 paid members, which makes us one of the largest IPMS chapters in Canada. A membership includes a one year subscription to "The Bulletin", the clubs newsletter, access to the clubs decal bank, privileges be entered in door prize draws, privileges to enter in members only contest, voting rights and privileges to run for the Executive.

 Non-members are not charged for bringing models for display or for bringing model related items for sale or trade, however models they bring for display can not be entered in door prize draws. They can purchase raffle tickets during club meetings.

Members and non-members alike are encouraged to bring models, books, accessories, etc. for show at the meetings. Only Paid Up members are eligible for the door prize tickets when they bring out their models. Raffle tickets can be bought by anyone in attendance. The club is run very informally, with a short business portion run during the general meetings.

While we do not have many rules for the club, we have had to institute a few to ensure the club runs smoothly and for the enjoyment and respect of everyone, members and non-members alike. Please review these if you are intending to come to one of the meetings. Most are common sense.

1) No talking during the business portion of the meeting or demo's, unless it pertains to the subject discussed and , preferably, directed towards the speaker. Off line discussions are very distracting to both the speaker and the listeners.

2) Negativity towards others building styles, skills  or choice of subject is unacceptable. We all build for fun, so keep that in mind before you open your mouth. We don't want to suppress your opinions, just keep in mind how you approach the subject or person.

3) Use of the clubs membership list for any purpose other than modeling related networking is prohibited. Members found using the membership list for non club related use (i.e.. Amway) will have their memberships revoked (non-refundable), lose all club rights and privileges and be barred from club meetings and activities for a duration to be determined by the general membership. We have not had a problem with this for several years and we'd like to keep it that way.

4) When participating in club functions (i.e. general meetings, club displays, club contests, photo shoots, etc.) keep in mind you are a representative of the club to the general public. Be polite, courteous and friendly. Leave a positive impression.
